Memory Match
Memory Match is the card game almost everyone remembers from childhood — sixteen face-down cards, eight matching pairs, and a simple challenge: turn over two cards at a time and remember where everything hides. It takes thirty seconds to learn and quietly exercises the exact mental muscle you use to remember a shopping list or where you left your keys. Finish in as few moves as you can, and watch your scores improve as your brain starts holding the grid in place.
How it works: tap any card to flip it, then a second. If the symbols match, the pair stays face-up and turns green. If not, both cards flip back — but now you know where they are. The move counter and timer start with your first flip.
Find all 8 pairs. Tap a card to begin.
How to Play
- Tap a card to turn it over, then tap a second card.
- Matching pairs stay revealed; non-matching cards turn back over after a moment.
- Each pair of flips counts as one move. Clear the whole grid to win.
- Press Shuffle & Restart at any time for a fresh layout.
Tips for a Lower Move Count
- Work in sections. Mentally divide the grid into quarters and clear one region at a time instead of jumping randomly.
- Say it silently. When you flip a card, name the symbol and its position in your head — "star, top row, third." Verbal labels stick far better than a glance.
- Use new information first. Start each turn by flipping an unknown card; if its partner is one you have already seen, take the match immediately.
- Slow down at the end. The last three pairs are where rushed players waste moves. Pause and picture the grid before flipping.
